Selfish vs. Selfless

Is evil rooted in being selfish?

Think about it, most crimes are committed from peoples own selfish thoughts, selfish needs, and selfish feelings

Even if it is valid its still selfish

Would a selfless person still steal what they need to survive form someone?

No that would be a selfish act.

That would put their own desires before others.

So, are any crimes justified ?

Is it okay to be selfish at times?

Is there any self-love in being selfish?

Do people always take what they wish they had because they don’t love themselves, or they don't love their life?

Always wishing to have other people's lives is selfish

But what would the world be without being selfish?

There would be no greed

No fear of being mistreated

Perhaps even fewer crimes

I can't fully say there would be more love, because the absence of selfishness does not necessarily mean the presence of selflessness

But we will be content with what we have and our desire to want more will lessen

We would also Care less about what others think of us or what we think about ourselves

What would the world be with selflessness?

More love and more friendliness

More givers than receivers

But do people who are so selfless ever accept gifts from others or would that also be a selfish act?

There always have to be a balance

Too much of anything is not good

So be selfless when being selfish is leading towards being evil

And be selfish when being selfless is leading you away from your rewards
