Unseen Harmony
An extraordinary bond lingered between us
By Qurat ul AinPublished about a year ago β’ 1 min read

The sorrow of your loss once gripped my soul,
But now, that ache has lost its toll.
In the splendor of your love, I once was found,
You were a symbol of grace, now lost, unbound.
The pain you gave me, that very heart,
Once nurtured by your presence, now torn apart.
Your absence swallowed all my joy and light,
Once a poet with brilliance, now lost to night.
In search of you, I scattered like the breeze,
That longing for your touch, now gone with ease.
I stood at your door, one final plea,
You were my life's question, but now, none I see.

So few words to convey such a vast amount of pain and suffering leading finally to acceptance. Itβs difficult to so perfectly encapsulate such a journey, but you managed it with ease. Great job.
Gosh this was so heartbreaking and emotional. Loved your poem so much!
Your ability to convey such complex emotions through simple yet evocative language is truly impressive.
so sad...but so good
Beautiful poem!
Don't make me cry please π₯Ί So much pain your poem carries !
Oof, this is heartbreak dipped in poetry! The way it flips from aching loss to quiet acceptance hits hard. "You were my life's question, but now, none I see"βpure mic drop. Deep, raw, and beautifully bittersweet.π€β¨
