If I could yoga

and coping mechanism

my way to freedom,

don’t you think I would?

If journaling could stifle

these unwanted flames,

I’d have filled thousands

of libraries by now, books

weeping with longing.

This violent slow burn,

unquenchable, demanding

complete surrender.

The haiku structure is deceptively free-flowing, which aligns with the theme of struggling to keep passion within bounds. Love the phrase "books weeping with longing."
