A Poem
By Meredith McLartyPublished about 2 hours ago • Updated about 2 hours ago • 1 min read

Encompassed by a prism of possibilities
Sanctity in souls that breathe purity
They enrapture torment of sin
quenching my thirst painstakingly
Finding dreams tattered in a sexy mess
upon a floor riddled with rough carpet
Stepping into a trance
that leaves me burning hot
for an outcry of writhing ecstasy
The heart beats and shutters
with lips licked
by a taste of the darkest chocolate
A chocolate, desiring to feed itself to me
I savor it greedily
Yet, I take no notice of the way
it trails down corners of a mouth
only salted by lyrics to a sexy song
My behavior is fluid, but unbridled
It's taking me time to call out
a saxophone's sonorous words
that speak to parts of me
too private to mention
