unlike these photographs
for the "Love in 50 words" Challenge
in this box of photographs
there are snapshots of us
blushing and shy looks
drowning in each other eyes
interlocked hands like chains unbroken
wedding rings
flour covered embraces
hair turning to snow and ash
these pictures are worn and torn
much like our minds
but our love is evergreen.
