i've never seen flowers die;

every time you get me a bouquet,

you take one out,

turning it into a sign:

when it starts to wilts,

get her another bouquet

but in your mind,

she should never see us die.

***

let the flowers die

because i promise

we never will

    Such an interesting dynamic in this! The lengths to go to for love I suppose! Well penned, Alexandria!

    ⚡💙⚡ (I had the same issue with stanzas. I also sign my poems at the bottom "by Bolt" so I'm always at least two words over the limit. Don't know if I should delete my signature or not. I may. Great poem!! I *like* the division of stanzas.
