So unique,
So different
from all the others
Where once was carnal
Is now spiritual,
And emotions
Spill freely
Like stardust
In a dimension
All our own.
No fate, no destiny
Rules us
When the Creator
Is creating.
Creating feelings
I’ve never known
or can describe.
Teaching me new
Feelings in a new way
Spiritual never felt so good.
Physical giving way
To emotional
Joy, ecstasy
Of the heart
And soul.
I’m seen, I’m loved
As a person first
And a woman second.
My spirit adored
Without
Interruption of
Physical attributes.
I’m blessed
Beyond measure
By the One
Who knit me together
In the womb,
Who has finally
Sent me love
Not of this world,
But of one
who is between
Heaven and earth,
One who can’t be
described in words.
One who has redefined
What love is,
One who loves God
Before me,
His love is free
And asks for
No conditions.
Foreign to me,
yet so comfortable.
He’s my safe place
And I’m his.
Never have I loved
Someone so completely
On every dimension.
He didn’t fall
Far from the tree,
His family comes
From a beautiful line.
So unique,
So different
From all the others.

Getting Serious About Comedy (Part I)
If I were asked to remark on my life and the childhood that paved some road leading me to this point, I would have to say something about all the funny people who surrounded me for the last 26,872 days (and counting). Somewhere along that road, I became a big fan of laughter and the comedy that spawns it – and, I mean not only my own laughter, but the laughter of others, some of which I have actually been responsible for inducing.
