you found it before you were born

You forgot the moment you left her

And unknowingly beg for it now/

It can be felt when still in warm water

Close your eyes, your skin never ends

Where you start and the rest begins lost/

It can be seen in a dark room

Open your eyes, you are everything in sight

Where you end and it all ends blurs/

It can only be experienced in numbness

Eyes closed or open, you can’t tell anymore

Where are you and where is time/

It will never be found truly again by you

Things can represent it for comfort

But until you last beat you won’t find it/

When you do find it again

You won’t chase it, you will chase this

Chase even the feeling of wanting now to end/

Once again it will come

The cycle will repeat, so stay

In the dark, in the water, in your sadness, hang on a little longer

I promise you the tides are worth it
