Under This Quiet Moon

A perfect valentine’s night

Under This Quiet Moon

Beneath a silver crescent moon,

Where mountains guard the night,

Your hand found mine in silence,

And everything felt right.

The water held our secrets,

Soft ripples kissed the shore,

The world grew small around us,

As I could want no more.

No grand display of fireworks,

No crowded room, no noise,

Just whispered breaths between us,

And two uncertain hearts turned sure.

The sky wore shades of velvet,

Blushed faint with hidden fire,

And in that hush of twilight,

You became my only desire.

If time should try to steal this,

Or daylight pull apart,

I’ll keep this moonlit promise,

Carved gently in my heart.

For love is not in shouting,

Nor roses bright and new,

It lives in quiet moments,

Like this still night with you. 💕
