Two Worlds

You and I.

By Deja ScottPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

I wanted to say I love you.

I didn't.

I felt like it was too soon for you.

but.

That's how I felt.

I felt like our two worlds combined and made something intergalactic.

So out of this world.

I didn't know if you would feel the same way.

So I rotated back.

back into my orbit.

Regretting even spinning out of it.

I dried up all my lakes and rivers flowing with the thought of you.

Killed every living thing on my planet that reminded me of you.

I did this to avoid getting hurt by you

but you showed me what love was.

you showed me the ways of your world.

you showed me how to love again

how to trust again.

you showed me how your rivers and lakes flow.

how the sky turned a beautiful blue into a midnight black

with the stars you held in your eyes.

I opened up my world again letting you roam freely.

Exploring the flowers that grew and flourished because of the new love that had sprouted.

my orange skies that were filled darkness and hate

shifted into an ocean blue with the prettiest white clouds you have ever seen.

but later on, I didn't know I would cry an ocean too.

everything came crashing down so quickly.

The stars in your eyes fell on me.

burning me with hate.

my blue skies turned a dark orange

the white clouds turned gray.

The warm summer days of my planet turned into cold nights.

I rained for days and days

trying to flood the thought of you.

so did what I did before.

I dried up all my lakes and rivers flowing with the thought of you

I killed every living thing that reminded me of

you.
