Two Sides To Just a Girl
She is always in intros by night

Two Sides To Just a Girl
By day she’s lost in lecture halls,
A quiet face, a fleeting name,
By night she rules the neon streets,
A predator without shame.
By day she scribbles in her books,
Timid words, a thoughtful guise,
By night her touch is poison sweet,
A spark behind her cunning eyes.
By day she’s just a shadowed girl,
Invisible in silent rows,
By night she’s fire, fierce and cruel,
Wherever midnight’s music flows.
By day she’s tied to rules and clocks,
A captive of the classroom’s grind,
By night she hunts with lips of flame,
And leaves her echoes far behind.
By day a girl of quiet dreams,
Her world a cage of paper plans,
By night she shatters hearts like glass,
And lets them slip between her hands.
Then when the sun begins to rise,
She slips back into her disguise.
No one knows the life she leads,
She is just a student with a woman’s needs.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

It must be hard living a double life, especially as a student. Loved it
A poem that describes various movies of the recent past and present. Good job.
Oooo, she seems so cool. Loved your poem!
It was all a guise for her being a predator! Fantastic poem! ♥️💚❤️
