Which city do you live in?

The exuberant buildings and the flashy nightlife was what had attracted me to this city. The endless opportunities to manifest the endless dreams, to walk amongst the best and the brightest, to enrich myself with the rich history and marvel at the edifice embodying them. That's what brought me here. But that's not why I stayed.

I stayed for the 1 AM runs to your favorite pizza place when the city was covered in snow.

I stayed because I remember when you held my hand and pointed out every street and shop that you and your mom used to frequent with a glowing smile.

I remember when you took me to that one particular bench near the river where you would go when upset.

I remember the park where I first met you.

I remember that window in the far end of the restaurant where we confessed our love for the first time.

That is the city I fell in love with. That is the city I stay in.
