Twisted Shame

By Katie Pope

By Katie PopePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Anger over the stupid things

Is the twisted mind

What a shame

Never able to stand the one who is happy

Standing with a smile

Laying blame, turning it upside down

Is the twisted mind, up to shame

A thought that it is all about you

The laughter, the smiles, the tears

Thinking all are out to get you

Damn what a shame

Is the twisted mind laying within

A wasted life who’s to blame

Frustration at the peace she has found

Wow, what a dream

A chance to live

Wasted on a twisted mind

Watching for only them,

What a lost, WOW such a shame

Sick of the pain done with the guilt

Walking away form it all is the one who lives with

Hopes of changing the twisted mind of another

Life is short, live it

The twisted mind is always jealous, even sad, full of anger

It is time, live the life

Without the twisted mind that demands pain and shame

Throughout it all, end it all!

sad poetry
