Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Day 12/30: A series where I write a poem every single day for 30 days.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,
Hey, sparkly! Please, fill up my jar!
How I wonder what you are?
Can you give me a chocolate bar?
Up above the world so High!
Would you take me with you to fly?
Like a diamond in the sky!
Let's float in the heaven before I die
Twinkle Twinkle little star!
Hey, Angel! Can you fix my scar?
Would you take me far? I am so sad
I'm a little child, I lost my mom and dad
Up above world is so dark
Without my mom, I don't see no spark
They tell me, Dad one day will come
I know he won't, I am no Dumb
I know I don't sleep in my mom's lap
I know it's a lie, I know it's a trap
Like a diamond in the sky
They're not up there, and I know why
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,
I know you're a star, you're not where they are!
But, twinkle twinkle, you little thing!
Where do I find them, where do I begin?
I miss them a lot, they are my world
Without them, you see, my life is whirled
.
A/N:
How are you doing? I hope, greatt! Thank you for reading :)

Wow! This is such a sweet poem, but there is a lot of sadness in this, and I really loved this one-sided conversational imagery with the little star. 👏
That was very cute, Maryam. Almost halfway there!!!
Oh wow, at first it was fun and then it became sad. Loved your poem!
