Twinkle, Twinkle
Haiku string

I’m not willing to
settle, so I sleep alone.
No dreams to dream here.
—-
Firm tendrils of hope
glide through my heart, stroking the
Love that lies in wait.
—-
Someday my love will
find a home for life, I hope.
Until then, patience.
—-
The mind is fickle,
not just any soul will do.
Someday he’ll show up.
