Set the wheels in motion

You cry an ocean

I reap the commotion

Of my unsettled mind

We stay on the grind

He drinks a love potion

She scorns the mankind

They lack any notion

Of what's left behind

You keep hiding your pride

I veil my emotions

They paraglide

High up in the sky

Goodbye

My favorite thing about this one is the rhythm. It fits the song beautifully, too, as Mariann noted. And wow, what a song to pick; I'm full of anxiety now! "You keep hiding your pride I veil my emotions They paraglide High up in the sky" Wow. Love this metaphor soooo much! ❤️
