Tumultous Sea Serpent
A Haikuplet on Chaos
This is for Kenny Penn's Haikuplet challenge. There's still time to join in the chain here!
Chaos. Like it or not, it sometimes throws, thrashes, and leaves our lives in complete disarray.
There are factors that make it sometimes impossible to control this furious, yet somehow beautiful sea serpent. But we can work on what we can.
Tumult soon calms when we break things down, prioritise, and look at what we still have, instead of what we have lost.
While we cannot embrace chaos, we can manage its presence. Enjoy this little Haikuplet.
Fair snake tosses waves
Tide lashes out in fury
Covering souls
Tame irate hisses
Ship's stern shreds snakes angry tail
Rough waters soon calm.

Well done… chaos isn’t fun, but part of life, as you indicated 😵💫
Awww poor snake! Lol but great Haikuplet, Michelle! The part about the tide covering souls was a particularly vivid image
But I don't manage chaos very well. I tend to spiral alongside it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved your Haikus!
Real snakes are scary. Your snake is symbolic and I enjoyed meeting it through your poem. I wish less chaos and more peace in our hearts, and around the world nowadays.
ooh really good but poor snake!
