Trust

It's Fragile

By Cassandra GracePublished 6 years ago 1 min read

I’m going to trust you..

I’ll give you my heart.

Please don’t hurt me.

Don’t use or abuse me.

I trust you.

Please don’t break my trust.

You wouldn’t be the first,

But it would still hurt,

All the same as the last time.

I trust you.

My heart I’ll give to you,

It’s fragile, you see.

Be careful with it.

Please don’t break it,

Like everyone else.

I trust you.

My skin is paper,

My bones are glass.

I’m easy to break,

Like porcelain China dolls.

Please don’t drop me,

Once I’ve fallen.

I trust you.
