i love you.
i took shrooms and acid.
i want to melt my body
into yours.
you've never touched me
but i feel you.
even when you don't speak
i hear you.
even though i shouldn't have
i trusted you.
even though you didn't have to
you lied to me.
i'm so angry you lied.
how then could i lie to myself?
oh no...
i do love you.
that doesn't mean i love your lies.
but in fact, that's all i've loved
is lies.
and you.
the one you lie about.
the truth you slander with your lies ...
the truth i want to strip from your lies
with your consent
so you may melt into my skin

dear anger, i'd like to talk. i know you are a sacred teacher in this life. a signal for me when better is deserved. you guide my understanding of what is just by alerting me to injustice. you ensure i only allow myself to be treated and handled with respect because you're intolerant of less. with these lessons you have provided me the tools to protect my worth, move through the world conscious of justice and never settle. for this i am eternally grateful. however, we are going to need to reel it in a little. sometimes it is time for breath not time for anger.
