Still, they wait, stoic in the silence
Branches tilted to the blue sky
White frost stays within their bark
A hush before the green.
Roots press down, holding soil,
Knowing warmth returns
They trust the sun
Breathing
Hope

such a lovely piece, full of hope
Lovely, lovely...trees ad animals know to trust nature. We should listen.
