In the whisper of the twilight’s call,

I journey back through ages tall.

Where echoes of forgotten dreams

Dance softly in the moonlight’s beams.

Moments of old, once celebrated,

Rewind the thread of time’s embrace,

To touch the past and see its face.

In corridors where shadows play,

Lost voices of the past relay,

Where history’s heart gently fools.

Yet in this voyage through the mist,

The present's glow is hard to miss.

For as I trace the path I knew,

The future dawns with hues anew.

I like the blending of man’s history as well as the author’s become one.
