Transitioning

Colors

By Joann VienneauPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Once a vibrant pink, full of positivity

Even though life can bring negativity.

Experiences tend to meld our colours,

The goal is to not let it affect others.

Tragedy brought out the greys and blacks,

While the pinkness strove to fight back.

A move to the North, where it’s cold and blue,

Helped to lighten, the oh so darkened hue.

After a while the shades did lighten,

All the days began to brighten.

The vibrant pink, here once again,

To spend its days until the end.

Another move, not so far North

This time, it is green coming forth.

The pink is still shining bright,

Here until the end, as all is right.
