transience of floral splendor🥀

Fading beauty of nature…

By Fatima KhanPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

The flowers in the garden, once so bright,

Now wilted and fading out of sight,

Their vibrant hues now lost to time,

Their beauty now a fleeting mime.

Their petals droop and fall away,

Their fragrance fades, day by day,

Their stems now weak, their leaves so dry,

Their time on earth soon to pass by.

But in their dying, they still hold,

A beauty that cannot be sold,

A grace that lingers in their form,

A peacefulness that's born from the storm.

For even in their final hours,

These dying flowers still have powers,

To teach us lessons, deep and true,

About the cycle of life, old and new.

So let us honor these flowers, dear,

In their last moments, let us hear,

Their whispered words of love and grace,

As they depart without a trace.
