Transfigured Night

A Sonnet

'Moon Reflection Couple' V CT https://www.publicdomainpictures.net/en/view-image.php?image=289161&picture=moon-reflex-couple

You fire my core with drip of wild wet hair

The moon upon your body floods my eyes

You take my will and mind you are so fair

But I fear for you I'm too big a size

When bare how can you bear this big old bear?

Will you stay or say good and fast hard byes?

I burn, I'm mad, your form does strip me bare

Do fire and moon and heat tell me bald lies?

But soft you turn to me with true blue eyes

I kiss your head; you hold me by the hips

Mind fire and soul and body all do rise

I melt in you, you sear me with your lips

You take me all; I'm lost in deep sea eyes

I'm glad to be so lost, for Love is wise
