Train Station Mornings.

……

By Marvelous MichaelPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

7 AM, running late, missed the train

Printer’s jammed, can’t explain why my brain

Feels like it’s buffering, loading too slow

Guess that’s just life when you’re always on go

*

Trying to keep up, but my mind won’t sit still

Chasing a future I’m not sure is real

*

And I’m staring out the window of a fast-moving train

Watching my reflection, wondering if I’ve changed

They say time will tell, but time never waits

So I just keep running and hoping it’s fate

*

Textbooks stacked high, deadlines feel close

They say “just breathe,” but I need more than hope

Dreams feel heavy, but quitting feels worse

So I carry it all, even when it still hurts

*

Maybe I’ll figure it out on the next train…
