It is hard to maintain

Holiday traditions.

As we grow older and

People start to live

Their own lives.

Somehow we still maintain

Those traditions.

We gather at one persons

House.

It has been my aunts house

Since my mom died.

We used to do breakfast

And lunch/ dinner.

Now we just do the main meal.

We give out presents.

Usually two people hand

Out the presents.

And we open them one

Person at a time.

Then we clean up

And eat.

Then we help clean up

From the meal.

We say our goodbyes

And go back to our lives

Until the next holiday.
