Toxic Mother Love

Parents

By Michelle Thomas Published 3 years ago 1 min read

I feel every time I try to talk to you things go wrong

A feeling as if you want me gone

Trying my best to be a good daughter to you

I’ve done all that I can do

A simple talk turns into a fight

I wonder when will everything be alright

You treat everyone else like you’re they’re mother

You treat me like I am an other

As if I don’t belong

Why me?

What did I do so wrong?

You reach out to me when you are in need

I will never turn my back on you

My love for you is always true

Even though you treat me like an other

You will always be my mother

I can relate. https://shopping-feedback.today/stories?status=published I've been living with these feelings for years and finally got the guts to write about it with the hope that it might be therapeutic. Fingers crossed.
