Sakura

I thought I would see tomorrow

I fell prey to the heart’s delusions

.

The same day I killed the cat,

I realized the red sweet apple I never got to taste became green.

Without looking back,

I continued moving on

Together with the wind

.

My scattered heart was covered by light sakura-colored snow.

Notes for understanding :

Sakura bloom in March and the beginning of April and, usually represent April in Japanese. They also represent the end of a period in life, but as well as a new beginning. They bloom for such a short time to reach their most beautiful stage to eventually die and repeat the cycle all over again.

About the Creator

♥️♣️ぴ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡♠️♥️

I am inspired by freestyle Japanese poetry.

From a clear meaning to a beautiful resonance.

However; the person who inspired me is now on another path of life.

But, I will continue to practice.
