Toward our forever.

A poem for him

By Dr. Constance QuigleyPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

The warmth of your skin radiates,

The softness of your voice permeates,

Your sweet kiss pervades,

I bask in all I have with you.

Your soul is tied to my own,

In song, we share,

In dance, we know,

In promise and trial we recognize.

Your aches were designed for my softness,

My worry and woe for your strength,

My hand rests perfectly in yours.

My heart feels safe in your hands.

Our future is our own,

We choose our tomorrow's, today.

With hands interlocked and hearts aware,

We move in tandem toward our forever.
