shredded
...
between heartache
and thoughts of revenge
and trying to keep them
separated
...
between gut wrenching sobs
and non-physical pain
and every time i rise above
i just kick me down again
...
between the emptiness that fills my chest
and the noises that fill my mind
between the impending loss of all control
and the clarity of a sadness defined
...
between the right direction
and staying lost some more
both have their merits yes
but still i’m not quite sure
...
between wanting to touch
and needing to feel
it hurts so much
i need to heal

I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this. But writing is such a healing tool. Been there. Take your time. We all process things differently. Hugs
