Topple The Tin Gods!

To charter a new declaration of interdependence

By Hoyt Douglas BattlesPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
One flag, one world, one star

Although I support freedom, I do not need limitations!

Although I support liberty, I do not need publican lies!

Although I support happiness, I do not need unnecessary sacrifices!

Although I support friendship, I do not need duplicity amongst them!

Although I support life, I do not need deadly irrational excuses!

Although I support ideas, I do not need oppression!

The ones who call themselves golden, are the liars and cheaters of society!

In their conscripted relations with my state.

I say topple the tin gods and excel once and for all!

Was this scandal all over a fragile calendar?

About the Creator

Hoyt Douglas Battles

The reluctant writer emerges from the thicket of discontent wanting to scold society for the lies and deceit.

Unsure of his methods, he embraces his individual excellence and immeadiately received an offer to publish his very first novel!
