Too Fat to Be Me
I gifted her my body
I looked for me ofttimes
She looked at me always
As much as I abhorred her
She was always there
I was slim
She was fat
But she came from inside
***
Once I thought she inhabited the mirror
But each time I looked for me
I saw her instead
***
She was my mind
I couldn’t leave her behind
She was mine
Even when she was so shy
She loved when we chatted alone
She was my friend
And I was her worst confidence
***
I hated her
But I loved her more even
She kept me alive
But wanted me dead sooner
I became her
Though she was inside
***
I saw her fat
But she made me think I was
Around I was told slim
Inside I was but fat
She was me
I thought she knew me better
***
I glanced at the mirror
And she glanced at me
She became my eyes
I saw fat everywhere
***
I realized I was genius
Cause she gave me her eyes
Therefore
I gifted her my slim body
