the words pour out

of my mouth

and out of my mind

alarmingly

frequently

and seldomly do they

land on the page

let alone make

any sense

a jumble of

casual suggestions

a see through inanity

an occluded pattern

occasionally they

haphazardly align

but then

so do the planets

and if i look

to the night sky

i see another

star die

another tomorrow

takes its place

another tomorrow

is born anew

i'm not lost

i just don't know

where i am

i'm not found

i'm just aimlessly

drifting

but i am looking

for dead stars

other words

and more tomorrows

surreal poetry
