Servitude enforced, whether for sex, domestics, cons, crime, labour or war

Little ones, older ones, females and males, foreigners trapped in foreign lands, people the most prized commodity, for the most despicable

All enslaved, without choice, all forgotten, without voice

Versions and variations exist throughout the world

Endlessly hopeless situations. where life and death is in the balance

Reality hurts, the truth is painful, the lies conveninent, the fascade comforting

Yesterday's displaced, stolen, or thrown away garbage humans, are tomorrow's property of the rich and powerful.

Thanks for reading.

I know this is not a cheerful or inspiring piece, but I've got a lot of anger about certain things in the world that I can do very little about, so I am going to express that anger this way - poetically. This is the second part of my Reasons to be Angry series. You can check out the first part here:

Versions and variations exist throughout the world. I loved this line the most! Also, I too often get so angry with the things going on in our world that I have no control over. So I guess we're in the same boat!

Very true. I donate to OUR because of this to help, I’m unsure what else to do. But it is so sad and so tragic and I wish there was more!

  • Great poem and very true!

  • Well this profoundly resonated with me!!!!! Wow. And no apologies…. We are always trying to rebalance and eliminate the darkness that infects us… sometimes it has to be shared to release it
