Tomorrow Is Rhyming On The Eighth Of The Month
My Poem A Day In February Group started to rhyme every month on the eighth in March of 2023
Humpty Dumpty
He sat on a wall
and had a ball
but did not fall
off the tall
wall, rather did stall
on the wall and all
the king's horses were too small
to get Humpty off the wall or call
him down despite the thrall
he had a lot of gall
he wasn't the same doll
who we recall
the rumor is he's drinking alcohol
he was said to have been in a brawl
when he was down at the mall
he even used a maul
and a trawl
on his friend Paul
and someone said an awl
and Paul did bawl
~
Humpty dumpty is not nice
and he will pay the price!

It's difficult for me to know where to start with a review of this book as it was, for me, an entirely unique experience and one that I'll probably never have again. I don't want that to be interpreted as unenjoyable but it has left me scratching my head a little and ruminating on its content, its themes and its characters.
