Today...

I'm going to wake up and stretch,

I'm going to drink my coffee cold,

I'm going to feel my age,

With grace, yet never growing old.

I'm going to have a no-make-up day,

And let my hair fly away;

It's pancakes for breakfast,

With chocolate and cheese;

I'm throwing away the diet sleaze!

Today, I'm going to be officially me;

I'm going to sing at the top of my voice,

Despite my neighbors complaining

about the noise,

I'm going to eat doughnuts for tea,

And spend my day in front of the TV;

I'm going to sleep as long as I like,

Even if I wake up through the night.

Today, I'm going to be officially me,

Because that is the most powerful

person I can be.
