'To you, who has brightened the stars.'

Poem

By YukaPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

Shooting star across the sky, can’t help but wonder if it's you.

And I wish you were to sit with me like we’d always do.

Holding hands, looking up, hoping our wish comes true.

But as time went by, I kept losing pieces.

Until there were just ashes spread across the night sky.

The crying sun, the smiling moon, and me, who sits in between.

All still mourn the one capable of showing peace.

The one who made me capable of loving you,

And in losing them, taught me how love can shatter too.
