To you

a poem to someone who is now nothing

By Glory BeckerPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

To you

You who smiles in the face of pain

You who weeps at the sight of rain

You who screams out against the people who harmed you

Laughing as they try to disarm you

Words strong like poison

Letting no one else's voice in

You who cuts people off like a strand of string

You not caring what kind of pain you bring

You who does not fight back

Sitting back letting your words stab others in the backs

An unapologetic tyron

Standing amidst the field of those you hurt

Smiling

You who yearns for more

Yet still lies still on the floor

You who loves no one but yourself

You who refuses anyones attempts to help

Letting people think they’re safe

Then breaking them

So they can’t run away

You who’s filled with excuses

You who caused the end

It was no ones fault but yours

There's no point to defend

You who showed no emotion

Letting everything flow through and out

Like the ocean

It was you

It was always you

You who caused the commotion

You who pretended to be innocent

You who came up with as many excuses as you could

There is no denying it now

It was you

So scream out

Defend yourself But there's nothing to defend

Because you are nothing and you wish you were something
