To where your soul remains

And the promises once made

Haunting regret that time will not erase.

πŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”

I do go back to where your soul remains,

The wind still blows your unforgotten tune,

My mind repeats the promises we made.

πŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”

Through wakeful nights, my memory in chains

Each visage seems a thousand miles to walk

I do go back to where your soul remains.

πŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”

Time has gone past, but my mind disobeys

All things have changed, but my love still deems strong

My mind repeats the promises we made.

πŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”

I call your name when my courage does not stay,

Pretend that your embrace was still as strong;

I do go back to where your soul remains.

πŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”

Your spirit forms in dreams I can't dissuade,

The morn shakes me up, proving I was wrong;

My mind repeats the promises we made.

πŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’”

Now my hope feels numb, hopeless and afraid;

And I hum the heartfelt tune you sang;

I do go back to where your soul remains.

My mind repeats the promises we made.

    This is so sad and heartbreaking, yet beautifully filled with love. I teared up while reading, thinking of the people I love and might lose one day.

    This definitely had that underlying tone of deep sorrow and regret that comes with memories of broken vows to a lost love. Beautifully written.
