To Touch the Moon
There gleams a beacon, a lunar tune, A longing to reach the face of the moon. With hearts and minds set to explore,...

In the velvet canvas of the night so wide,
Where stars and dreams in galaxies hide,
There gleams a beacon, a lunar tune,
A longing to reach the face of the moon.
With hearts and minds set to explore,
We dream of the lunar surface to implore,
To touch the silver dust of a celestial sphere,
With feet that have never walked up there.
An ancient desire, a modern quest,
Human spirit's call to be our best,
From Earth to moon, it's a journey we swoon,
Oh, the dream to touch the face of the moon.
From a distant past to a hopeful morrow,
We cast our gaze beyond the Earth's furrow,
To leave our mark on the lunar dune,
A dream to touch the face of the moon, and soon.
Through starry nights, we aim for the sky,
With rockets and rovers that dare to fly,
To grasp the dreams of a shared monsoon,
To reach out and touch the face of the moon.
A realm of wonder, a cosmic desire,
To set our footprints where none have prior,
In the stillness of space, in its silver cocoon,
Lies the dream to touch the face of the moon.
We'll persevere, explore, and ascend,
To reach that celestial orb, our friend,
For the human spirit will always attune,
To the dream of touching the face of the moon.
