Born to be the middle sibling,
Always having to standout.
You forever make your presence known,
Of that there is no doubt.
You're funny, you're clever,
You're caring and kind.
You're brave and courageous.
You always know your own mind.
But sometimes your mind,
Tells you the wrong things.
Takes situations and twists them
And the problems that brings.
You strive for acceptance
Live for likes and shares.
At times think the world is against you,
Like nobody cares.
You don't need acceptance.
You are beautiful and smart.
It doesn't matter what others think,
When you have the biggest heart.
I know life is hard
And it can be a struggle.
But we are in this together,
In our own family bubble.
You clash with your siblings
Your family and friends.
Then you take it to heart
But where does it end?
You hold grudges, retreat
Cut yourself off out of spite.
You're missing out on life
And that isn't right.
You're struggle is our struggle,
It affects us all.
When you're having a hard time,
Just give us a call.
I know I get stressed
And shout when I shouldn't.
But no matter about that
Stop loving you I couldn't.
I'm pulled in all directions,
Trying to divide my time.
There just aren't enough hours in the day
But I love you, you are mine.
You don't always feel it,
We love you, we do.
But when it comes to helping
We just don't have a clue.
A shoulder to cry on,
Hug, or hand to told,
We'll be there now in a minute,
That'll never get old.
So, we may have our differences,
Arguments and shouts.
But I will love you forever.
That's something you should never doubt.
I want us all to be happy,
Healthy and carefree.
We just need to get over these life hurdles,
And we will get there, you'll see.
So to my middle daughter,
I know that times are tough.
You have your all own issues
And I know things get rough.
Whenever you have a problem,
You can come to me and voice it.
We'll deal with it together,
And together we will solve it.
I will forever be here,
And that is a fact.
You will always be my baby girl.
I'll always have your back.
