Oh! my long hair, flowing free,
Like Rapunzel in her tower, quietly.
You've held my dreams, my secret place,
A silent shield, a soft embrace.
But when you fall, my heart aches too ....
Don't leave me ....
I'll cuddle you like a baby,
But don't leave me ....
Okay....
I won't tease you anymore while detangling .
Each strand a story, a whispered prayer,
A gentle weight I’ve learned to bear.
One day I’ll let you go, I know,
Step from this tower, let the wind blow.
But for now, you’re still a part of me,
A quiet bond,
my strength,
my key.
Authors Note :
This poem is a reflection on the bond we form with parts of ourselves—like my long hair. Much like writing, my hair holds stories, memories, and silent prayers within each strand. Writing, too, is about untangling thoughts and emotions, gently working through knots of experience and feeling. Both my hair and my words are quiet companions, helping me find strength and release. One day, I may let it go, but for now, both my hair and my writing remain my strength, my solace, and my key to self-expression.
Thank you so much for reading my thoughts :)

This is such a wonderful analogy between hair and how we detangle and process our lives. Thank you for sharing this!
Wow, I love this poem!✨ I agree with Maryam, the line: "A gentle weight I’ve learned to bear" perfectly describes not just hair, but everyday challenges one encounters.🌿 Good job!💕💕
Awesome writing
Splendid girl! "A gentle weight I’ve learned to bear" A line that can be related to real life situations. The beauty of this poem is that each and every line deploys a deep meaning ... Apart from hair too, It provides deep sense of beauty <3
Wonderful! I have no words to comment on this poem. Although when I want to write something, my eyes fell on your author note. After that, I didn't feel the need to write anything.
ohh! really incredible. After reading this I really wanna see your hairs :)
