To Materialise a Man
A special person to share my whole life with

To Materialise a Man
I whispered to the midnight breeze,
Send me a man, if you please.
Not one of muscle, brawn, and might,
But one who’d hold me through the night.
A man who’d dance in morning dew,
And laugh at jokes that only I knew.
He’d brew the tea just how I like,
And serenade me on his bike.
He’d pen me odes with silly rhymes,
And lose to me at board game times.
With twinkling eyes and playful grin,
He’d make me swoon and make me spin.
So, stars above, hear my decree,
Send forth this man, and let him be.
Not perfect, no, but perfectly mine,
A love that’s sweet, a love divine

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

Interesting poem and well written.
If only people like this existed
Good luck and good job. Is there really such a thing as a perfect female or male.
