To Have Loved and Lost.

A lost love cry!

It is said you never miss your well until your water runs dry. Well that can be said about love. The pain known from having that someone to hold you late at night when all seems dark. Someone to wipe your tears when you hurt and assure you everything will be ok. That someone to listen to you as you rant and rage about the long day you had. That someone who works your last nerves but turns around and makes you laugh until you cry. That friend, that counselor, that peace maker, that comforter, that lover, that mother, that father, that sister, that brother, that child. Whoever that special someone is to you. That void can never be filled when you have loved and then lost. The tears you cry at night, the empty filling that burns in your heart. The memories that continue to dance in your head, while you sit in disbelief that your love one is dead. The confusion, the anger, but what if I had just did..... You begin to hide to cry, leaving everyone to believe you are strong, while all long you feel your soul dying inside. Everyone has a time you know, that time we will never know. Until like a winter chill it creeps up your spine, and the cold chill reminds you of the time. The time when you felt that warm embrace, that gentle kiss, the one you will always miss. No one will ever know the pain you suffer when you have loved and then lost. Left wondering if you will ever know that love again. I had a love once, beautiful and pure. Conditional true love, and if only time had been as strong as that love. I life has forever been changed, but I am grateful to have known such a wonderful love. Be kind to those you love and forgive silly mistakes, for one day you may look around and they'll be gone!
