to float

and fall and fly

I have an airborne heart

Floating feelings and

Cloud cover contentment

And I will follow you

To the edge of the world

Further

I love you like clear skies

And stormy nights

And blankets of stars

I love you more than the

Patterns in the clouds

More than the sky

More than falling

More than flying

To whomever should own such a heart, may they be blessed to know just how blessed they are.

Very beautiful, Poppy <3 such a lovely piece. I'm sorry, my cat just hit the mouse as I was scrolling and it clicked the unsub button. Resubbing now

I'm captivated by the serene landscape of your poetry; it's a haven for the soul.

  • Delightfully peaceful poem… especially liked: “I have an airborne heart Floating feelings and Cloud cover contentment.”🤗💖 So relieved my heart wasn’t ‘ripped out’!😳

  • I came here expecting to have my heart ripped out but you made it smile instead. Loved your poem!

I love this. I felt a sense of weightless euphoria lifting me above my circumstances of earthly love to one of a heavenly and eternal love. Thanks for this. Made my night.
