To fear curiosity

Is to fear life itself.

Unsure of how,

Or where your path may lead you.

Down a dark and eerie road?

Or will it surprise you with the joys it will offer.

Some say that the joys come with a darker meaning,

And vice versa.

Will the darker path lead you to a path of fulfillment?

Or will you suffer never knowing more?

To hold a fresh cut flower,

Invites death to the fragile petals.

To have your heartbroken,

Will lead you to guard your heart.

Allowing the simple pleasure of life,

Bring even the richest of beings an empty hole.

A sense of absence in their heart and soul-

Never knowing what could have been.

To take risk is to bring joy,

Safely and surely will you find your way.

To live life the fullest,

Is to live a life with little regret.

Assured beings of sentiments in their hearts,

Will live life to the fullest in every sense of the word.

Will you travel the dark and powerful road?

Only to harden your heart,

Knowing for sure of the life you wish to live?

Or will you flow on the path of light,

A world of safety and knowledge?

Only for one small inconvenience to tell you,

That everything that was done by you-

Was only in vain to the end goal.

To fear curiosity,

Is to fear all that could have been.
