Absorb the energy around

Which has mostly turned negative

With time

So I'm going to change the narrative

And make it about what I want

how I want and how I'm going to get it

Gone are the days

That made me feel insignificant

To be present, prepared and

Dance on my own beat

Life and better days,

Leaving it to the universe

~A letter i wish i could have written to my 18 year old self who only wished the best for people and maybe too naive for the world. You are you, that matters the most. There's nobody like you. Don't let the narrative control you, it's your story. Write it on the brightest of paper and decorate it the way you like. PLEASE YOURSELF, NOT OTHERS.
