Titans of Infamy...

Slaying Giants

Infallible Giants stride above me,

Huge feet churning ground beneath us,

Oil Derrick limbs spiraling drill deep into bedrock,

Penetrating Earth's crust and core,

Tendril fingers like jungle root,

Invasive with intrinsic presence...

Infallible giants stomping upon the intangible relief,

Hope...

Dream...

Belief...

One foot stamping,

Shod in myriad black jacked boot...

Infallible giants stand tall and block out the sun,

Making better doors than window,

Comfort, warmth, bitter cold,

Where they stand, the shadow they cast...

Who can slay these careless giants which tread upon us?
