In the quiet of the night, I sit and sigh,

My body weary, my spirit low and dry.

The day has taken all that I could give,

And now, I long for rest so I can live.

The weight of life, it bears down on my chest,

Each breath a struggle, a never-ending test.

I yearn for solace in the arms of sleep,

To find a place where all my worries keep.

But still, I push through, though tired to the bone,

For in this world, we're never truly alone.

We find our strength in moments of despair,

And with each challenge, we become aware.

That tiredness, it's just a passing phase,

A reminder that we're human in so many ways.

So, I'll close my eyes and let my body mend,

For tomorrow is a new day to transcend.

In dreams, I'll find the energy to rise,

To face the world with open, rested eyes.

For even in exhaustion's darkest hour,

There lies within us an untapped power.
