Sleep is the most important part of a human's lifetime.

Some people can fall asleep without any issues.

Then you have people like me who hates to sleep.

Every night like clockwork it begins the countdown.

Taking medicine like candy to make me crash.

Slowing down the overactive imagination dreams.

Slamming the breaks on the brain causing headaches.

Not wanting to think because it makes it harder to stop.

After hours of tossing and turning, I finally start yawning.

Not remembering any dreams that night of.

Unless my subconscious starts talking to me.

Coming up with the weirdest nightmares to be shaken awake.

When woken up by the sun coming through the cracks.

Laying there not wanting to take on today.

Tired of doing the same routine every day.

Making nighttime a party night when you can't sleep.

One day, just to have energy and not be a zombie.
